Mirka’s interface pads are compatible with any hook-and-loop random orbital sander. The 10 mm thick multi hole interface pad is placed between your sander’s backing pad and the abrasive sanding disc. 10mm interface pads are recommended for coarser grits and rounder workpiece contours, while 5mm pads are suited to higher grits and projects with sharper edges.

The soft foam of the Mirka interface disc matches the contours of the workpiece, making it easy to get clean, even results on complex surfaces.

Improve Surface Finish

Your Mirka interface pad distributes sanding pressure more evenly across the abrasive, reducing unevenness. For example, timbers such as oregon and pine have latewood that is much harder than the surrounding earlywood.
